I actually love the look of these! The “black” faux leather looks more like a matte charcoal/dark gray in person—not shiny at all—and it really works with my modern table. They’re lighter than I expected, which made unboxing and moving them around super easy. I followed the assembly steps (tighten loosely, level, then finish tightening) and added felt pads under the legs for my tile floor—zero wobble now. Seats are cushioned enough for lingering after dinner, and for the price, these are a steal. Five stars from me!
